Membership terms
Last updated 1 August 2026.
1. What membership is
The Travel Concierge is a paid membership operated by Oli Jam Media Ltd ("we", "us"). Membership gives you access to a travel concierge service, curated fares, price-watch alerts and member rates through our booking partners. We are not a travel agent, tour operator or ATOL holder: we never take booking payment, hold a deposit, or issue a combined package price. All bookings are made and paid for directly with the relevant partner (Booking.com, Expedia, TUI, Jet2holidays, Luxury Escapes, Agoda, Discover Cars and others as we add them), under that partner's own terms.
2. Founding price and billing
Founding membership is £1 for the first 30 days, after which it renews automatically at £49.99 + VAT per year unless cancelled beforehand. As a founding member, this £49.99 + VAT price is locked for as long as you remain continuously subscribed — it will not increase for you even if the price rises for new members. Billing is handled by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves.
3. Your right to cancel (cooling-off)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have 14 days from the start of your membership to cancel and receive a full refund, with no reason required. Because membership gives you immediate access to concierge services, curated fares and member rates from the moment you join, by completing checkout you expressly ask us to begin the service straight away and acknowledge that:
- if you cancel during the 14-day period after having used the service, we may deduct a reasonable amount reflecting what you used before cancelling; and
- once the 14-day period has passed, the £1 trial and any subsequent renewal become non-refundable, though you can still cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
This waiver only applies because you have asked us to start immediately. If you would prefer not to waive the cooling-off period, contact us before using the service and we will hold access until the 14 days have passed.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from your account — there is no phone call required and no retention process to get through. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund a renewal that has already been charged, except where the cooling-off right in section 3 applies.
5. Renewal reminders
Ahead of any annual renewal, we will email you a reminder with enough notice to cancel if you choose to, and will keep doing so as subscription-contract rules evolve under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act. We do not rely on you forgetting to cancel as part of how this membership is priced.
6. What we don't promise
Fares, availability and member rates are supplied by third parties and can change between when we show them to you and when you book. We check what we curate but we cannot guarantee a price will still be available at the moment you complete a booking with a partner.
