1. Who we are
The Travel Concierge is operated by Oli Jam Media Ltd, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration number available on request). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
2. What we collect
When you join the waiting list or become a member, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, home airport, travel style, and the consent choices you make on the join form. If you become a paying member, Stripe processes your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
We send you membership and fare-related emails on the basis of soft opt-in: because you gave us your details in the course of joining a service of ours, we may email you about similar offers unless you tell us not to. The join form gives you a visible, unticked box to opt out of this at the point you sign up, and every marketing email carries a one-click way to stop them. SMS is treated the same way, with STOP honoured on every message.
Where you separately tick the box agreeing that our partner sales team may call or text you, that consent is used only for that purpose and only if you've given it — soft opt-in does not, by itself, cover outbound calls or texts from a partner team.
4. Where your data goes
Your data is processed on UK/EU-based infrastructure. Membership and payment data is shared with Stripe (payments) and our email delivery provider, both under standard processor agreements. If — and only if — you have given the specific consent described in section 3, a limited set of your details is shared with our partner sales team, which operates from South Africa. Because South Africa does not have UK adequacy, this transfer is only made under an International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses, and only for members who gave that specific consent.
5. How long we keep it
Waiting-list and lead data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed to communications, plus a limited period afterwards to honour suppression and legal requirements. Membership and billing records are kept for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law after your membership ends.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or withdraw any consent, at any time — reply to any email from us or contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you think we've got this wrong.
7. Contact
Email us via the address in your welcome email, or write to Oli Jam Media Ltd. Full registered company and ICO details are available on request.
